Born and raised in Alberta, Shelley is a true northern girl. She is a wife of 40 yrs, a mother, a grandmother, an author, a horse breeder and foundation horsemanship clinicianer, and a volunteer in local horse camp for 20+ yrs. But like some, she has also experienced tragedy and loss. The loss of their beloved 20 yr old son in 2011.
