HEART Retreat is a soft place to land and a private, peaceful setting to experience growth and healing through our herd of rescue horses and our Equine Assisted Learning programmes. HEART Retreat specializes in First Responders with trauma exposure, and moral injury. HEART Retreat was founded in 2007 by Sandi, after a year of grief and trauma that changed her life forever. This is when Sandi really started to learn how incredible being with the horses "was and is" when it comes to healing. HEART Retreat was birthed from her experience with several traumatic events in a short period of time, compounded by job related trauma exposure. We offer group and individual programmes. HEART Retreat also has certified coaches that support a youth programme (The H.O.L.L.Y. Project)
